TREATMENT METHODS

We use various treatment techniques that include:

FUNCTIONAL MANUAL REACTION

Integrated use of soft tissue and joint mobilization combined with dynamic loading in standing postures. This loaded mobilization and muscle re-education in upright postures.

LLLT

Non-thermal laser is used to treat both acute and chronic conditions of pain, swelling and spasms. It is also believed to accelerate tissue healing and increase blood flow to tissue.

CUPPING

Cupping utilizes suction via negative pressure to distract muscle and fascia tissue, encourage blood flow, and sedate overactive nerves. It can cause micro trauma in the tissues which stimulates healing processes of the body and quickens recovery.

GRASTON TECHNIQUE

Instrument assisted soft tissue manual therapy and mobilization that aids the practitioner in identifying and treating areas of fascial restriction, scar tissue build up, and muscle knotting.

ELECTRICAL STIMULATION

Used to treat muscle spasms, pain, inflammation and muscle re-education.

BPPV

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo is a specific maneuver involving manual techniques designed to move particles out of the semicircular canals of the inner ear to relieve vertigo symptoms.

MANUAL MOBILIZATION

Hands on treatment used to increase range of motion, reduce pain, decrease myofascial restrictions to improve muscle strength, decrease swelling and inflammation, and assist the body in muscle/soft tissue repair and facilitate movement to improve function.

THERAPEUTIC MOVEMENT

Therapeutic stretches, strengthening, and functional movement restoration patterns that are designed around your specific dysfunctions. They work to both assist in pain relief and treat the cause of an ailment. Therapeutic movements are prescribed during treatments and given as home exercise programs.

MECHANICAL TRACTION

Decompression therapy that relieves pressure on the cervical/lumbar spine. Used to treat herniated discs, sciatica, DDD (degenerative disc disease), pinches nerves, and bulging discs.

ULTRASOUND

Provides deep heating to soft tissues in the body (ie: muscles, tendons, joints, ligaments), through the use of sound waves. The deep heat increases blood flow to the area, breaks up scar tissue, reduces swelling and edema, and calms spasms.

HOT/COLD THERAPY

Heat therapy is used to relax tight, stiff, and sore muscles. Cold therapy is used to calm muscles down, relieve pain, soreness, and inflammation.
